This week I’m in An Inspector Calls at the Alhambra theatre in Bradford. It’s been some years since I’ve been on this stage and I’ve never been on to an absolutely full house before. But all 6 performances are sold out largely because the writer of the book is from Bradford (J B Priestley was, according to my Grandpa, with my great uncle in WW1) and because it’s a book that is studied at GCSE, so it’s quite a young audience.

I’m playing an ‘Extra’, which is a whole new experience and it has been really interesting to mix with professional actors on stage. I’ve met some really interesting people, all adding to my experience.  And I get to wear great clothes too….bradford-theatres.co.uk/whats-on/an-inspector-calls
